Final
Good bye Feds! I went into this wanting many different things. I didn't expect to come out with a wisteria tree. It took a lot of work finding and mixing colors.
Perspective
I did one point perspective. I worked with new tools such as actual ink pins. I don't like this personally I think it has too much contrast.
Side Project
Clay
I used semi human features and some different marsupials from Madagascar. First started by making a pinch pot and then I Added ears, eyes, eyebrows, and a mustache.
Self Portrait
The first one was obviously a joke. I hate the second one and its proportion. I wish I would've sized down the eyes. Ms. Fediler is teaching us this to make me a better artist. My symbols were the cross, the half glass face, and the plumb bob. The plumb bob symbolizes the sims, the broken glass sysmbolizes me being broken, and the cross symbolizes medicine. I used a 4b pencil and 2b pencil to create this.
Final
I started off with sketching, then I added color. I was happy with how the background turned our and how the flannel looked. I struggled with making the colored pencil look realistic. I also struggled with the face. I'm proud of what I did and my favorite part was the lips.
Value Project
Today I work on the lips some more. Before starting on the nose. I broke the face up it smaller geometric parts before getting more detailed. Tomorrow I will work on the nose and possibly the eyes. I started on shading and color. The lips look more round. I love the blues contrast too. I finished the face now I need to work on details. I finished the drawing, I don't know if I will mat-board it or not. I was iffy at first but I love the final result
Prints
Today I finished printing my samples. My favorite was the print that I just etched into. Today I finished up my sample prints. The first one is a variety of fabrics and threads. The next was a plain indented.
Also I cut little chunks out to make the innards of the card board come out. I started working on my final print yesterday. I decide to do feathers with patterns in them. I didn't use fabric or yarn I just took the knife and indented the card-board. I put the first coat of lacquer on the front of the print and will do the second and back tomorrow. Over all I am happy with my work.
I finished lacquering my print today. I will be starting to print tomorrow. I finished my five intaglio prints. I also started on my relief prints and finished 3/5 of them. Tomorrow I will start working on finishing the project.

Sketch Books
For this project I first made the end page by putting different paints on a wet piece of paper. Next I made the signatures by folding papers into fives and poking holes through them. Lastly I made the cover by taking a piece of fabric cutting it down to size and wrapped it around the card board. So far I have enjoyed this project, making your own sketch book is a special touch that doesn't happen a lot.
The end project, it was fun to make and challenge to make. I didn't do well sewing in the signatures. My favorite part of this was making the end pages.
